| Bone chips may sideline Ohlund for season
The Vancouver Canucks received some bad news Thursday when they learned defenceman Mattias Ohlund has bone chips in his left knee. In an attempt to reduce the swelling in the joint, Ohlund has been administered anti-inflammatory drugs. He will be given four to six days to see if the swelling has gone down enough to return to play. If Ohlund has not recovered enough to play at that time, he will undergo arthroscopic surgery. "Hopefully when it settles down I'll be able to finish out the year, hopefully get into the playofs and play for a long time," Ohlund said. "We're going to have to wait and see a few days." Ohlund would miss the rest of the regular season as a result of the surgery. Even if Ohlund avoids surgery now and is able to continue playing, he will still have to go under the knife after the season.

City actors shine in film on Baba Deep Singh
The plan, if there was is still in the records and has not been translated into reality. Established in the early 90s with over 300 industrial units, which produce a variety of goods, the area contributes large chunk of taxes to the state and the municipal exchequer but without receiving any advantage. The roads in the area are almost non-existent and the sewerage system perpetually over flowing, making the movement of both, the goods and the people difficult. The chairman of the Focal Point Association, Mr Harminder Singh, said the corporation had taken over the industrial area for maintenance but had totally failed to carry out their responsibilities. The industrialists paid exorbitant house tax, besides Octroi and other taxes but the corporation had completely ignored their claim for better civic amenities.

Consumers continued to apply the brakes to purchasing new vehicles last month, adding to the pall hanging over the shrinking auto industry. Woomail Wants To Woo You Away from Spam
The recipient gets an e-mail saying, "I only read secure e-mail" and a link that takes the recipient to a reply page on the Woomail server , so that no part of the communication travels through cyberspace. Putting Users in Control John Halloran, a Puerto Rico-based precious-metals dealer, created Woomail after struggling with the huge amount of spam his brokers and office staff were dealing with. He said that his goal was to put users in charge of their communications, inbound and outbound. "The problem was that anyone in the world can send you communication from anywhere, and I can't stop them from sending it to my servers," he said. "If I can get them to come to me by typing in a URL or Woo to Woo message, then I can control communications on my server and so I can prevent fraudulent use." (A "Woo to Woo" message is one in which both parties have Woomail accounts.) Sending a message from within the site cannot be done without a challenge-and-response question, putting the kibosh on automated spammers.
